WARREN DEAN FLANDEZ | President

Warren Dean Flandez, a two-time JUNO-nominated musician and Tsawwassen resident since 2014, owns Studio Cloud 30 and The Clear Umbrella Consulting. He
serves on the Delta Police Board, BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, and as a Capilano University faculty member. In 2020, Warren co-founded The Harmony Initiative Society (THIS). In his free time, he enjoys family time at Tsawwassen’s beaches.

JILL PRESLEY | Vice-President

Jill joined the TBIA board in March 2023. A Tsawwassen native, she’s seen the community evolve over the years. Jill has worked at Tsawwassen Springs since 2015, focusing on community engagement and marketing. With 25 years in hospitality, she holds diplomas in Hospitality Management and Esthetics and is excited to support local businesses.

SIMON GRIFFITHS | Secretary

Simon is with Barbican Property Management Group, a division of Century Group, and joined the TBIA Board to give back to the Tsawwassen community. With his extensive business connections, Simon is committed to supporting local growth. He loves Tsawwassen’s golf scene, beaches, and amazing bakeries!

TAMARA STANDERWICK | Treasurer

Tamara has lived in Tsawwassen for over 30 years, volunteering on sports and education committees while raising her family. As manager/part owner at My Tsawwassen Dentist, she promoted oral health through initiatives like distributing toothbrushes to local students and sponsoring charity golf tournaments. Now retired, Tamara continues to volunteer and collaborate with Bayside Auto Sales on community initiatives.

SARAH SAWYER | TBIA Board

Sarah, a lifelong Tsawwassen resident, graduated from South Delta Secondary in 2015. She’s been involved in the community through sports and has worked in the grocery business since age 14. Now the manager of Meridian Farm Market, Sarah became Vice President of the TBIA Board in May 2023. Her deep connection to Tsawwassen drives her passion to support local businesses and give back to the community.

RANDY SCOTT | TBIA Board

Randy, the longest-serving TBIA Board Member since its founding in 1991, owns and operates Randy’s Tire and Bayside Auto Sales. As former president, he’s dedicated countless hours to the organization, from hanging Christmas lights to sponsoring events and helping the community. Randy’s commitment to Tsawwassen is unmatched!

HEATH NEWMAN | TBIA Board

Heath, alongside his family, operates Newman’s Fine Foods and their European Butchery at Tsawwassen Town Springs. His passion for the town and its locally-owned businesses led him to join the TBIA. Heath is committed to supporting the growth and success of Tsawwassen’s businesses, including his own, and contributing to the community.

SARA KIRBY | TBIA Board

Originally from Airdrie, Alberta, Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Doctorate of Optometry. She works as an optometrist at Tsawwassen Optometry Clinic. Sara, along with her husband Owen and their three children, is committed to the community, having been a past Rotary Club member and now serving on the TBIA Board. She’s passionate about supporting the growth and success of Tsawwassen’s local businesses.

KELLY SCOTT | Director of Community Engagement

With over 22 years in retail management and customer service, Kelly moved to Tsawwassen in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the community. She values work-life balance and enjoys giving back, while balancing her career with family life. A mom of two young kids, Kelly is passionate about engaging with her community and making a positive impact.

DANIEL BOISVERT | City Of Delta Liaison

Daniel Boisvert has lived in Tsawwassen for 8 years and has called Delta home for over 50 years. A Notary Public since 2008, Daniel runs a busy legal practice in Delta. He’s a past Director of the Society of Notaries Public and is currently the President of the BC Notaries Association. In 2018, Daniel was elected to the Delta Board of Education and served as Vice-Chair. In 2022, he was elected to Delta City Council for a four-year term. Daniel is passionate about public education and community service.
